At Preferred Materials, our expertise comes from the production of ready mix concrete, block and building materials, however, efficient production really comes from a focus on safety and environmental stewardship. Not only do we meet all safety and environmental regulations, our goal is to take it a step further by integrating them into our culture.
Safety
Every step, every process and every task of what we do to manufacture and deliver construction materials is continually evaluated with the safety and health of our employees in mind. Our approach to safety is centered on an employee-driven process where the people who do the work have a vested interest in making sure those processes are safe. Not only are the employees the center of our safety culture and drive its success, so are our customers and the general public.
We know that our delivery vehicles are large so we take sharing the roadways with the general public very seriously. We strive to hire the industry's best and most professional mechanics and drivers available, and we further commit them to ongoing safety and skills training courses to maintain that standard.
Environment
There is great emphasis on protecting the environment now and for future generations. Like safety, the environment is vitally important. Ready mix concrete and block are made from natural ingredients which come from the environment. If you live in a house, drive on roadways and go to work, school or shopping, then you as a consumer have used our products. Therefore, it is our responsibility to be wise and work toward the least possible impact on land, air and water resources. At Preferred Materials, we strive not only to comply with environmental regulations, but to be responsible corporate citizens as well.
Community Involvement
As a new company, Preferred Materials understands our role operating in the local community.
